Manoj Bajpayee Approached Delhi High Court For Personality Protection

Bollywood versatile actor Manoj Bajpayee moves Delhi High Court for personality protection due tp misuse of image, voice and AI-generated identity.

Recently Bollywood versatile actor Manoj Bajpayee approached Delhi High Court for protection against the alleged commercial use of his likeness and AI-based recreation of his voice and personality.

Actors petition was filed in front of Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav.

According to update by Live Law, Senior Advocate Swathi Sukumar appeared on behalf of Manoj Bajpayee during the hearing. The petition added concerns over the use of the actor’s photographs for commercial purposes, along with the use of artificial intelligence to recreate his voice and elements associated with his personality.

In his petition one of defendant is is H2PG Designs Private Limited. According to actor company used his photographs in a manner that suggested he was wearing suits manufactured by the brand. According to actor another Another defendant has allegedly used AI technology to reproduce the actor’s voice, for the same actor approached Delhi High Court  to sought protection against AI chatbots that may use identifiable aspects of his personality.

Well we hope actor will get Justice and his personality protection will be allowed by court.
