Ayushmann Khurrana Discusses Playing a Pakistani Spy in Udta Teer

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is grabbing headlines for his unique role in the upcoming movie Udta Teer. He plays Bilal, a Pakistani intelligence agent who suffers memory loss after an explosion and wakes up mistakenly believing he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer.

When asked about taking on such a sensitive and unconventional character, Ayushmann kept it simple and professional. He stated that he simply follows what the script requires. Calling it a fantastic and unique genre-bender, the actor noted that working on a patriotic comedy with mistaken identity was a fun challenge. He admitted that keeping a straight face while dealing with absolute chaos around him made it one of his toughest characters to portray.

Co-starring Sara Ali Khan, the film is directed by Akash A Kaushik and backed by major production houses. Fans are thrilled to see Ayushmann take on another quirky, out-of-the-box role when the movie hits theaters on October 9, 2026.
