CBFC New Member List Revealed

Recently CBFC team was reconsituted by Government of India, list including prominent actors like Suniel Shetty, Preity Zinta, Priyadarshan, Pankaj Tripathi and 18 another’s.

Well according to report recently The Government of India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has reconstituted the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). As per an official notification dated September 16, 2026, the reconstituted Board will start working immediately and will continue for period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 

Notice was released under Section 3(1) of the Cinematograph Act, 1952, read with Rule 3 of the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024.

Entire new list goes like this Vinod Anupam, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Jain, Ricky Kej, Priyadarshan, Suniel Shetty, Hansraj Hans, Supriya Yarlagadda, Yatindra Mishra, Rupali Ganguly, Preity Zinta, Nila Madhab Panda, Pankaj Tripathi, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Pallavi Joshi, Nishigandha Wad, Waman Kendre and Ramesh Patange.
