Chhaava Actress Sanchita Ugale Dies by Suicide; Final Instagram Video Goes Viral

​The television and film industry has been left shocked by the sudden demise of 22-year-old actress Sanchita Ugale. Known for her roles in popular TV shows like Kumkum Bhagya and her portrayal of a young Tarabai in the Vicky Kaushal-starrer film Chhaava, Sanchita allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai, on June 14, 2026.
​According to the local police, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom.

Authorities noted that no suicide note was recovered from the scene. Her father stated that he does not suspect any foul play. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered, and the police have launched a full investigation to understand the cause behind her extreme step.

Just hours before her tragic death, she posted an Instagram reel where she appeared happy, energetic, and full of life while dancing.
