Mumbai Police Solved Jewelry Theft Which Took At Raveena Tandon’s Residence

Mumbai police has arrested 47 years old lady identified as Rashi Chhabria for allegedly stealing jewellery and luxury items worth approximately Rs. 25 lakhs from the residence of the Actress Raveena Tandon’s mother Veena Tandon and brother Rajiv Tandon house. Rashi Chhabria was working as caregiver in the house of Rajiv Tandon brother of Raveena Tandon.
As per the sources Rashi Chhabria had been employed at the Tandon household since 2020 as the primary caregiver for Veena Tandon mother of ActressRaveenaTandon, who is 86 years old. During her services over the years Rashi Chhabria earned trust of the family. She was allowed to move even in those area of the house where others had no access.
It was during Dussehra Festival when alleged theft came in the notice of the family. Family noticed that many valuables articles were missing from their house which included gold and diamond jewellery such as bangles, earrings, mangalsutra, as well as expensive watches belonging to Rajiv Tandon.
As soon as family came to know about the theft, the brother of the Actress Raveena Tandon filed a complaint with Mumbai Police. During investigation it was found that Rashi Chhabria was involved in theft. Police has recovered a portion of the missing jewellery and luxury accessories. Investigation by the authorities is continuing to trace and recover the remaining items
