Mardaani 3 Went Through CBFC Scissor

Recently most awaited women cop project Mardaani 3 went for CBFC NOC.

According to report
CBFC asked makers to replace ‘bachhi’ with ‘ladki’ in Mardaani 3; and also asked for modification in slapping visuals.

Well Mardaani franchise after great success of Mardaani  releasedin (2014) and Mardaani 2 released in  (2019) once again introducing  Rani Mukerji as  fiery inspector, Shivani Shivaji Roy, with Mardaani 3.

Mardaani 3 is produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Mardaani 3 was originally scheduled to be released on February 27. However later it was preponed and now it’ll arrive in cinemas on January 30.

According to report makers revealed CBFC replaced ‘bachhi’ with ‘ladki’ in Mardaani 3; modifies slapping visuals. CBFC also asked the makers to insert drug disclaimers. CBFC asked for  word ‘bachhi’  to be replaced with ‘ladki’. Since the scene in question involved sexual violence, the makers had to submit age proof of the actor to clarify that she was not a minor.
Then, visuals of a girl being slapped were modified. The word ‘wh**e’ was replaced with ‘trader’ in the English subtitles.

Mardaani 3 after going through CBFC scissor received U/A 16+ certificate on January 14.

Movie length now stands 2 hours, 17 minutes and 7 seconds.
