Bollywood veteran actress is going to be part of upcoming Rajinikanth starrer Jailer 2, apart from this movie release date also gets unveiled.

Well if we talk about Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer franchise it has became one of the most successful hit franchise in Tamil film history.

Well according to latest development makers of Jailer has signed Vidya Balan to starcast of Jailer 2.

According to report after going through screenplay and character to be played, Vidya Balan got to impressed that immediately she gave node to project.

News of Vidya Balan joining Jailer 2 starcast was confirmed by sources close to development, Well sources revealed “Bollywood versatile actress Vidya Balan signed upcoming Jailer 2 as she was totally impressed by the script. In Jailer Vidya Balan’s character is crucial  as she will be  playing a strong, layered role which is going to be major turning point in the film. Her role will add more intensity to movie”

According to report movie shoot begun in March 2025 and by the end of 2025 movie shooting will be wrapped and it will be out in theaters on 12th June 2026.
