Ahaan Panday to Lead Ali Abbas Zafar’s Upcoming Action-Romance After Saiyaara

After his debut in Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday has signed his second film — an action-romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The yet-untitled project is produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), with Aditya Chopra backing it.

Ahaan impressed both Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Chopra through his performance in Saiyaara. They believe his limited exposure so far is an advantage — allowing him to surprise audiences with a different kind of role that combines romance and intense action.

The script for this new movie is finished, and action workshops are being planned. Music sessions have already started as well. Filming is expected to start in the first quarter of 2026.

Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Chopra have had great success together in films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. So expectations are high for Panday’s second outing.

This project could show a new side of Ahaan — not just as a romantic lead, but in high-energy, dramatic settings.
