A new court case has brought the Kapur family’s inheritance feud into the spotlight. After businessman Sunjay Kapur’s death, there has been conflict over his huge estate, which is worth around ₹30,000 crore. Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have filed a case saying their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, tried to leave them out of the inheritance by forging their father’s will.
Priya Sachdev’s lawyer, during the Delhi High Court hearing, claimed that Samaira and Kiaan had already received assets worth ₹1,900 crore from the family trust, just days before filing their lawsuit. The lawyer asked, “How much is enough?”, arguing that they had already received a large share and questioned the need for more.
Karisma is representing her children in court, saying they deserve their fair share. The case is still ongoing, with both sides making strong claims. The judge has ordered Priya to present a full list of assets. This case shows how disputes over inheritance can become complex and emotional, especially when family ties and huge sums of money are involved.
