Diljit Dosanjh Exits Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s No Entry Sequel Due to Scheduling

The much-anticipated sequel to the comedy hit No Entry has been hit with a major setback—Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has officially exited the project, which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Despite months of speculation and efforts from producer Boney Kapoor to retain him, Diljit’s already packed schedule, including his “Aura Tour” in Australia and New Zealand from October to November 2025, made it impossible for him to coordinate the film’s shoot dates. The decision for Diljit to part ways with the project was amicable and mutual, as extensive touring and other film commitments proved insurmountable for the busy star.

The makers are now seeking a replacement, though no new names have been officially disclosed. Diljit’s exit has disappointed fans who eagerly anticipated seeing his trademark comic timing alongside the younger cast. With the project already delayed and now facing fresh uncertainty, hopes remain high that the Anees Bazmee-directed film—produced by Boney Kapoor—will soon announce a new star and keep the excitement alive for the sequel. The original No Entry, released in 2005, brought together Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan; this eagerly awaited follow-up aspires to create magic again with a fresh ensemble.
