Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore 2 Scrapped

Bad news for Akshay Kumar fans who were eagerly waiting to know when actors Rowdy Rathore 2 will go on floors, well according to latest reports
Rowdy Rathore 2 got scrapped after nearly years.

According to report sources close to development revealed producers Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have scrapped the much-awaited sequel after three years of persistent but fruitless efforts to develop it. According to report same script now be used to make a standalone original film.
Disney India, which owns Copyright to the original Rowdy Rathore released way back in (2012).

Sources revealed “With Disney unwilling to commit, Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have decided to scrap the idea of Rowdy Rathore 2 altogether and repurpose the script into a standalone commercial entertainer, free from the Rowdy Rathore tag,”.

According to report script written by veteran screenplay writer V. Vijayendra Prasad right  now undergoing significant revisions to make some changes to create  fresh, high-octane cop drama while retaining the mass-entertainment appeal of the 2012 action blockbuster that got Akshay Kumar on top of the Bollywood charts again after a series of box office failures.

We hope upcoming standalone original might have Akshay. Well official confirmation of the same is still awaited.
