Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay Gets 4K Restoration

All time favorite Bollywood blockbuster project Sholay’s restored version all set for premium at  TIFF.

Get ready to watch your favourite classic movie Sholay in new version, however new version will be premiered at TIFF However, while North American audiences are confirmed to enjoy it, Indian fans may have to wait.

According to a report by News18, the restored Sholay version will be premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 6, 2025.

Upcoming screening will be conducted by the Film Heritage Foundation, which did great efforts  to bring the 1975 classic back to life for the big screen. Well official confirmation is waited whether the 4K version will be re-released in India or not.
