Dhanush Slams Al Technology

South superstar Dhanush slams after he went through Al edited version re-release of super duper project Raanjhanaa adding “This isn’t the film I made I am shocked”

Few days back fans and filmmaker Aanand L Rai got upset over the AI-generated alternate climax of the acclaimed Raanjhanaa.

According to report Raanjhanaa makers and fans has sparked widespread outrage after the Raanjhanaa climax was altered using latest technology called Artificial Intelligence (AI) — as this was done  without the consent of lead actor Dhanush or director Aanand L Rai.

Dhanush slams adding  “deep disappointment” and calling the decision a “threat to the integrity of storytelling.”

Dhanush shared his disappointment on Al version of Raanjhanaa for the same actor took to his X (formerly Twitter), “The re-release of Raanjhanaa with an AI-altered climax has completely disturbed me. This alternate ending has stripped the film of its very soul… This is not the film I committed to 12 years ago.” actor further said stricter measure should be taken to prevent similar alterations in the future. He added “The use of Al to alter films or content is a deeply concerning precedent for both art and artists. It threatens the integrity of storytelling and the legacy of cinema. I sincerely hope that stricter regulations are put in place to prevent such practices in the future”,

Well Al Technology is becoming topic of concern as it is getting used for wrong means.
