Recently Madras High Court issued notice to Netflix over Chandramukhi footage in docu-series.

According to report
AP International has asked for Rs. 5 crore as  damages, for  unauthorised use of copyrighted clips in Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale.

According to report Madras High Court has summoned Tarc Studio LLP and Netflix Entertainment Services India LLP for  copyright infringement as they used footage without consent, they pick up footage from YouTube.

According to report petition was  filed by AP International. Inn AP International alleged Tarc Studio LLP and Netflix Entertainment for unauthorised usage of film clips from the 2005 Rajinikanth-starrer Chandramukhi  in the Netflix documentary Nayanthara:
Beyond The Fairytale.

In  petition, a cease-and-desist notice was served to Tarc Studio LLP and Netflix Entertainment Services India LLP and stressing  the removal of the unauthorised content and seeking Rs.5 crore as  compensation against damages faced by petitioner. According to report petitioner has asked for permanent injunction
