As we all know Rani Mukerji is all set with upcoming most awaited third installment Mardaani franchise. In upcoming project Rani is reviving police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy.
Production work of upcoming project will commence in April next year.
According to report YRF has engaged new filmmakers for upcoming installment so that story get full justification, for screenplay YRF has signed Aayush Gupta, the acclaimed scribe behind the hit series The Railway Men. Associate director of upcoming project will be Abhiraj Minawala, known for his work as associate director on YRF blockbusters like Band Baaja Baaraat, Sultan, and Tiger 3, will take on the directorial reins.
Mardaani franchise came into existence in 2019.
