Salman Khan’s threat case has new twist, as recently one person is arrested for demanding 5 crore in name of Lawrence Bishnoi.
According to report person arrested is 24 year old budding songwriter.
According to report on Tuesday Mumbai Police nabbed 24 year old person for demanding 5 crore from Salman in name of Lawrence Bishnoi later he taken into custody.
One person named Sohail Pasha who is said to be budding songwriter was held from Raichur in Karnataka, wanted a song written by him to become famous and used this ploy for the purpose, police claimed. The WhatsApp helpline of Mumbai traffic police on November 7 received multiple messages stating that the sender was a member of the Bishnoi gang, and Salman Khan would be killed if he did not pay ₹5 crore. They would also kill the writer of the song Main Sikandar Hun, the sender warned.
According to report soon after whatsapp message was received on trafic police helpline number, crime branch Mumbai Police started tracking down the mobile number from which the messages had come to Raichur for the same crime branch team was sent to Karnataka and Vyankatesh Narayan, who owned the number from where message was sent added official. When crime banch met Narayan and went through his phone it was found he has no Internet facility. Police then found that his phone had received a WhatsApp installation OTP. Narayan revealed police on 3rd number one unknown person approached him in a marketplace and asked if he could have Narayan’s phone for making a call. In investigation it was found that the man had installed WhatsApp on his own mobile by using Narayan’s mobile number to obtain an OTP, the official said. The crime branch team then zeroed in on Pasha at Manavi village near Raichur.
According to report investigation is on, police is interrogating Pasha.
