Bollywood controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is in trouble as police case has been filed against him for passing derogatory remarks on TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu.
According to IANS report Andhra Pradesh Prakasam district police has lodged complaint against bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for allegedly making derogatory remarks on social media against former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh, and his daughter-in-law Brahmini.
Complaint was lodged by TDP Mandal Parishad Secretary Ramalingam, accusing Ram Gopal Varma of making offensive posts last year that targeted Chandrababu Naidu, then Leader of the Opposition, and his family. Varma’s comments were allegedly shared as part of the promotions for his film Vyuham, which explored events surrounding the tragic death of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy in 2009 and the subsequent rise of the YSR Congress Party led by Reddy’s son, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is now the Chief Minister.
Case was filed under Information Technology Act, investigation in matter begins.
