Akshay Kumar Starer Tirangaa Is Not Remake Of 1993 Tirangaa

Akki’s upcoming project Tirangaa will be helmed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

Last month we went through number of reports which revealed upcoming Akshay Kumar starer Tirangaa will be remake of 1993 Nana Patekar and Rajkummar  starer  Tirangaa. However Latest development reveals it not  to be original not remake.

According to report producers of Upcoming project Ashvin Varde, Subhash Kale and Narendra Hirawat – along with Akshay Kumar felt Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan will be right choice for direction and he only can give it right treatment” taking into consideration filmmakers ability, producers signed Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan for direction.

Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan is well known for directing projects like  Lahore (2010) and 72 Hoorain (2023) and both won National Awards. He was also one of the writers of Ranveer Singh’s cricket drama, ’83 (2021).

Well going through report it seems its clear that upcoming project is original and its not remake, However official conformation of the same is still awaited.
