Aditi Rao Hydari’s graceful ‘gaja gamini’ walk in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series, Heeramandi, has gained widespread attention. A video clip of her mesmerizing walk has gone viral on social media, sparking discussions and admiration among viewers. Aditi expressed surprise at the overwhelming response to her walk and credited Sanjay Bhansali for helping her perfect the move. She also acknowledged the efforts of choreographer Kruti Mahesh in creating the impactful scene. 

This moment from Heeramandi has captivated audiences, with social media users commending Aditi’s performance. In a recent interview, Aditi shared her gratitude towards the team involved in making this scene a memorable highlight of the series.

“I am thanking everybody. That walk, just that little tukda from thumri, it is all over the internet. I really didn’t expect that and Sanjay sir did say, ‘Ye chaal bahut important hai (This walk is very important).’ He has so much knowledge so he was very much involved in the making of the song,” she said.

 Talking about Sanjay ‘s passion of seeking perfection she said, “Kruti Mahesh was there choreographing but he was completely involved in every detail of the choreography and he was very particular about this walk and how it should happen, how will the dupatta fall, how will the waist move, exactly when will the ‘chan’ sound will be heard…it was quite incredible”.
