Nanda Passed Away

Bollywood lost another gem. Veteran actress Nanda is no more she passed away following a massive heart attack this morning. At the time of heart attack she was at her residence in Anderi, she was 75. According to her relatives she was fit, she was not suffering from any illness.

Nanda made her debut in movies as a child actress in “Jaggu”. She received her first break as full-fledged actress in movie “Toofan Aur Diya”. She received great appreciation for her acting in “Toofan Aur Diya” after this movie she never looked back and delivered number of hits like Ittefaq, Gumnaam, Humo Dono and many more. In her entire journey of acting she shared silver screen with renowned actors like Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar and Shashi Kapoor.

Nanda was nominated number of time for filmfare awards, she received filmfare as best supporting actress for her movie  “Anachal”.
