Vikrant Massey Gave Shocking Statement

12th Fail fame Vikrant Massey gave shocking statement adding he rejected ₹ 35 lakh per month TV contract adding “My wife Sheetal used to give me pocket money for auditions”

Actor Thanked his wife Sheetal Thakur for supporting him financilly during auditions.

Actor recently enjoyed great success of his latest release 12th Fail directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Movie showcase real life inspiring journey of IPS office Manoj Kumar Sharma who overcomed number of hurdles physically, mentally and financially till he achieved his goal.

According to report during interaction with Unfiltered by Samdish, Vikrant Massey opened about his early days in the entertainment industry, shedding light on his transition from television to cinema he “I earned a lot in TV. I bought my first house at the age of 24. But all that regressive content on TV was happening simultaneously and I felt like coming out of the world and trying my luck in cinema. I realised that though I became secure financially, it didn’t help me sleep well. I had this realisation when I fulfilled all my financial responsibilities towards my parents and others.” he continued
“My parents were in shock when I told them I am going to restart over in films. I was making a lot of money. At the age of 24, I was earning ₹ 35 lakh per month, especially for someone who comes from a middle-class background. I quit TV at the time when I had a ₹ 35 lakh per month contract in my hand. I decided to do good work and find peace.”

Actor also opened about his personal life, highlighting the unwavering support of his wife Sheetal Thakur. He said “My savings got exhausted in a year and then my wife Sheetal (his girlfriend at the time) used to give me pocket money for auditions.”

Recently Massey and Thakur welcomed their first child a son on February 7, 2024.
