Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s thrilling “Merry Christmas” trailer releases on 20th December

The creators of the upcoming thriller film ‘Merry Christmas’ have officially announced the release date for the movie’s trailer on Monday. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film features Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

The official trailer is scheduled to be unveiled on December 20. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vijay Sethupathi shared a special motion poster of the film which he captioned, “#MerryChristmas Trailer out on 20th December.”

Described as a “genre-defying tale” from the director of Johnny Gaddaar, Badlapur, and Andhadhun, ‘Merry Christmas’ is shot in two languages, featuring distinct supporting casts. The Hindi version includes Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in equivalent roles. The film introduces Pari, a child actor, and showcases exciting cameos by Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte. 

Information regarding ‘Merry Christmas’ is being closely guarded. Sriram Raghavan has disclosed that the film is based on a book. Although he hasn’t disclosed the title, he has indicated that he has preserved the essence of the source text. ‘Merry Christmas’ is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2024.
