1 lakh milk packets sent by Sonu Sood to flood-affected areas of Chiplun

Torrential rain and consequent floods, with several rivers flowing above the danger mark have affected Chiplun, Khed, and many other towns in Ratnagiri and parts of neighboring Raigad. Due to the dangerous floods, the residents of these places have been struggling hard to get back to their feet. Although the government is taking every necessary step to help these people in every possible way, actor Sonu Sood is once again in action  after he heard the news.

Sonu Sood has sent 625 relief packages to families across Mahad, Chiplun, and Kshetrapal. He dispatched seven trucks of relief material for the people stuck and affected and told a news channel that a lot of relief funds so far have reached the villages on the main road. He further revealed the residents of interior villages haven’t gotten enough help and also confessed to discuss people’s requirements with village sarpanches.

He further shared that he has sent one lakh milk packets which will reach the areas in five days’ time and hoped that the relief work will start withering a week. He also have deployed 12 member team that has joined the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers on the ground to ensure smooth and equitable distribution of supplies.
