The actor has since then doing good deeds and helping the needy whenever and wherever possible. Just recently he arranged airlifting for a 25-year-old critically ill Covid-19 patient in an air ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad to get treatment.
The patient’s name is Bharti and she is the daughter of a retired railway officer. Around 80 to 90% of her lungs have been damaged due to COVID-19. Sonu helped her initially by shifting her to a private hospital in Nagpur, where doctors suggested that a lung transplant would be needed.
The actor had then arranged her to be airlifted too be airlifted to Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, for getting ECMO, in which blood is artificially pumped into the body to take pressure away from the lungs.
A good deed again by the actor.
