Actor Sonu Sood has been recognized for his humanitarian works during the difficult times of Covid last year. As the second wave of COVID has strike in abruptly, the actor feels that the COVID-19 preventive vaccine should be available to the needy for free, and there should be a cap on pricing.
“Every needy should get the vaccine for free. Very important to put a cap on the pricing. Corporates and individuals who can afford should come forward to help everyone get vaccinated. Let’s do business some other time,” read his Tweet.
The actor’s tweet was a reaction to a news article stating that state, centre and private hospitals are charging differently for the Covishield vaccine where state hospitals are charging Rs 400 per dose, private hospitals Rs 600, and center hospitals Rs 150.
Well, the actors tweet is quite valid in these tough times as the second wave of COVID-19 has doubled the number of active cases in India than last year.
