Farhan Akhtar to direct Alia Bhatt in the sequel of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

A lot of people were inspired by Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to take a road trip with our friends. Well, we would definitely love to see the sequel of this one. Farhan Akhtar is donning the director’s hat for the sequel with a slight twist. He is set to bring another road trip film but with female protagonists.

After Don 2, Farhan will be getting back on the director’s seat ten years for this one. He had been discussing a probable version of ZNMD with female protagonists for quite some time now. And now they have finally locked a creative script.

A source close to Farhan Akhtar has revealed, “While Farhan acted in ZNMD, this time around, he will be directing this yet-untitled film. It is written by him and Zoya, and though the concept of road trip remains the same, the narrative is diametrically different from what they did in the 2011 film. They have locked on the broad idea of this story through the lockdown.” The reports suggest that this film would go on floors by next year as Farhan Akhtar would complete his acting commitments by then.

The reports also suggested that Farhan might be having Alia Bhatt as one of the female protagonist.
