SS Rajamouli & Boney Kapoor to clash again after they frayed out on casting Sridevi in Baahubali

Undoubtedly, Baahubali has been a game-changer and life turner for SS Rajamouli, who was just a successful Telugu director. He is now a renowned filmmaker of India. He actually had a little tiff with Boney Kapoor because of casting Sridevi in his biggie, and now, seemingly the two are coming face to face on the battleground yet again.
The Telugu director was interested to cast Sridevi as the Queen Mother in the movie. But because of Boney Kapoor’s interference, the role was eventually given to Ramya Krishna.
According to reports, when the director went to Sridevi to cast her in this film, then Boney Kapoor apparently quoted a price on behalf of his wife. Rajamouli revealed that because Sridevi had too many demands, she couldn’t be a part of Baahubali.
Sridevi reacted strongly to this and said, “First of all, I can’t believe he (Rajamouli) would talk like that. Secondly, I am not the kind to make any kind of demands. Whatever happened with Baahubali is in the past. Why are we talking about it now? There are so many roles that I’ve turned down in the past. I think it’s highly impolite to talk about the films you don’t do.”
SS Rajamouli didn’t deny saying whatever he had revealed about the actress. He said, “As for whose version to believe, I guess it is for people to decide whom to believe. But one thing is for sure. I shouldn’t have discussed the details on a public platform. That’s a mistake. And I regret it.”
Well now the directors are clashing again as Rajamouli’s RRR and Boney’s Maidaan will be releasing on Dusshera.
