BBC releases documentary ‘Death In Bollywood’ based on Jiah Khan’s suicide

Two days back BBC released a 3-episode documentary titled, Death In Bollywood, which focuses on the late actress Jiah Khan’s death, the incidents that led to it along with the consequences. There also is a clear mention of her mother Rabia Khan, and her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi. It was on 3rd June 2013 that the actress was found hanging at her Juhu apartment. It was also revealed later that she was pregnant with Sooraj’s baby. Although police said that she died of suicide, Rabia charged a case on Sooraj with abetment to suicide.

In order to find out the truth, the British family of the late actress had hired a private forensic investigator, Jason Payne James, who also suspect that her case was not a suicide as the oval mark found on her neck could not really be caused by a dupatta.

Therefore, BBC has released a 3-episode documentary, which involves all the happenings and facts. Reviews on the first episode of Death In Bollywood are surfacing online. It is being called a highly sensitive and emotional that also shows the 6-page suicide letter to Sooraj Pancholi and his initial arrest and eventual sentencing.

The documentary is just available in the UK and not to the entire world due to rights issues. Reviews are what we can rely upon.
