Will Coolie No 1 release in theatres or get an OTT release?

David Dhawan’s Coolie No 1 will get an OTT release as far as we know till now. This movie featuring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on December 25th. But, there were some reports that said, Coolie No.1 will simultaneously be released in single screens as well.

The reason behind this was given as follows. The main audience of this movie live in small towns and cities, which mostly are dominated by single screen theaters. And in the current scenario, a lot of  these are on the verge to shut down permanently. Therefore in the small screen theatrical release was expected from the film makers.

However, now according to latest update it has been re-assured that Coolie No.1 will get a release only on Amazon Prime Video and no theatrical release will be given to the film.
