Don turns 14: Know some lesser known facts about this Farhan Akhtar’s film

This Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan’s Don  turned 14 and the makers of the film Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar tweeted their remembrances working on this Amitabh Bachchan’s remake. Farhan’s Don was released in 2006 and starrred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal and Isha Koppikar. The original film was written by famous writer-duo Salim-Javed and also featured Helen, Zeenat Aman and Pran.

Farhan shared athe featured image of this article on his Twitter celebrating 14 years of his film, and wrote “Don ko yaad rakhne ki zaroorat nahin kyon ki Don ko bhool jaana namumkin hai. #14YearsOfDon (You don’t need to remember Don because it is impossible to forget him).”

A flight sequence between the Don (SRK) and DCP DeSilva (Boman Irani) was choreographed by SRK in time so that Boman could report on another shoot in a different location on time.

Another fact is Hrithik Roshan and not Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice for the lead role of Don. However in its sequel Don 2,which released in 2011,Hrithik had a special guest appearance. A third part of the franchise s also rumored.
