Sanjay Dutt Going To Spend Three Years and Six Months In Jail

Bollywood Actor Sanjay Dutts has been convicted by Supreme Court as Supreme Court upheld his conviction by sentencing him to five year of imprisonment. He was convicted by a TADA court during 1993 Mumbai blasts. Regarding this he has already spent 1 year six months in jail. Anyhow he got little respite by apex court as apex court has reduced his sentence from six years to five years. Therefore Sanjay this time going to spend three years and six months in jail and he hasn’t  been granted any probation. Therefore Supreme Court has ordered Sanjay dutt to surrender  within four weeks. Sanjay’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said,  Sanjay is strong person and its sure that he’ll fight back.”

Sanjay on November 2006 was convicted for illegal possession of  a 9mm pistol and an AK-56 rifle though he was acquitted of more serious charges of criminal conspiracy under the now defunct anti-terror TADA.
