BMC pastes a ‘Stop Work Notice’ outside Kangana Ranaut’s office

Under section 354(A) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a ‘stop work notice’ to Kangana Ranaut, earlier this morning. Through the notice, the department has told the Bollywood actor to produce permission within 24 hours. The notice was pasted outside Kangana’s office in Mumbai just a day after the BMC workers visited her production house, which goes by the name Manikarnika films.

In the notice, the BMC has listed 14 points that claims that her production office’s building is unauthorized. The department has warned Kangana that if she is unable to produce permission, then without any further notice, they would pull down the building. Now this notice suddenly comes amid the Twitter war between the actress and Shiv Sena after the actress made a controversial remark on Mumbai. 

Kangana posted a tweet yesterday saying that BMC officials have threatened to knock down her assets in Mumbai. She also shared a video where BMC workers can be seen at Manikarnika films. The actress also tweeted that her office was forcefully taken over and that her neighbors in Mumbai are being harassed by them.

She wrote, “This is the office of Manikarnika Films in Mumbai that I have earned after working hard for 15 years. I had a dream that when I make films, I should have an office of my own. But it seems like my dream is going to be shattered. Suddenly, a few people from BMC have dropped by today.” 

She added: “I have all the papers, BMC permissions nothing has been done illegal in my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice, today they raided my place and without any notice tomorrow they demolishing entire structure.”
