Salman Khan finally on leave for his treatment

As we all know that superstar Salman Khan has nerve disorder, trigeminal neuralgia, for which he underwent surgery in the US in 2011. You also know about his overdue medical check-up, which has been postponed twice in the last few months. Now he will finally leave for the US next week.

Salman is presently in Dubai, completing the first schedule of brother Sohail Khan’s film, Mental. He will return to the city on March 11 (for the final hearing of his 2002 hit-and-run case) before finally flying out.

The actor was supposed to travel right after the release of Dabangg 2, which got postponed as he was to start shooting for Mental. Then, in January, he said that the trip was postponed again due to the “court hearings coming up”. At that time, Salman had said, “I have to go to Jodhpur. It (the US trip) would be hurried. That’s why I had to push it back till after the court cases.”

Unlike his last two medical trips, this time, he is, so far, not likely to be accompanied by sisters Alvira and Arpita or any other family member. “It’s a routine check-up, so we won’t travel with him,” says a family member.

Some of his close friends, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala among them, might, however, go with him. He plans to relax, since he has just wrapped up a schedule.
