Shruti Modi, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput earlier claimed that it was Rhea Chakraborty who used to manage Sushant’s finances. Now her lawyer, Ashok Rastogi came up with some sensational claims on the drug conspiracy in the death case of Sushant. He has taken the name of Imtiaz Khatri who happens to be a son of a big builder in Mumbai. He also mentioned that the builder is very influential and has political connections today.
In an interview with a news channel, Ashok Rastogi said, “As far as drugs are concerned, it’s a very common thing in the film industry. One of the TV actresses had committed suicide and her boyfriend was accused of supplying drugs. There are other cases like Mamata Kulkarni’s and others – so it’s a common factor.”
He further claimed ,”Even today, if you wander around Lokhandwala area, I am sure you will be in a position to get some person who is ready to deliver you these things. As far as supply is concerned, it is within the knowledge of police as well about how these things are supplied.”
Shruti’s lawyer went on to make the explosive claim saying, “All these drugs are supplied by the topmost person in the trade – Imtiaz Khatri. He is a big person and has influence not just in Bollywood but also in the ministries. He is really close with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).”
Shruti Modi’s lawyer also claimed that two of the family members of Khatri were behind bars for their involvement in the irrigation scam and were bailed out after the current government came into power. He added, “So, Imtiaz Khatri has long been in the trade of drugs in the film industry. I meet so many people who work in Bollywood and take drugs on a regular basis.”
