Atrangi Re starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan will resume its shoot soon

Now that the lockdown phase has gotten over, everything is slowly getting back to normal. And almost every star is gearing up for resuming their left work commitments. The Khiladi of Bollywood is no different. He will be flying to London in August for his Bell Bottom shoot. According to latest news reports, he will resuming shooting for Atrangi Re with co-stars Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in the month of October. The shooting will be a three month schedule in Madurai, Delhi and Mumbai.

The news was confirmed by the director Aanand L Rai who told a publication, “Yes, I’m really excited to start the next schedule planned for October in Madurai. I have the full support of the cast and crew. We are hoping that things will improve by the time we are ready to shoot.”

The shoot is expected to finish by the end of 2020. He said, “Rather, during the lockdown, I got a lot of time to prep for the upcoming schedule.  We will be filming outdoors, but it’s going to be a very organised shoot… We will try to wrap up in the minimum time possible.”

It was speculated earlier that Akshay is doing a cameo in the film. However the director denied it and said, “It’s not a cameo, but a very special character that is important to the narrative.”
