Vicky Kaushal Opened About His Dad’s Struggle

Bollywood budding actor Vicky Kaushal opened about shocking statement adding that his father attempted for suicide when he was out of work, well my dad was MA English despite this education he was ready to work as sweeper in Mumbai.

Well let us tell you Vicky Kaushal’s dad is Bollywood renowned film maker. However, he’s had his long share of struggle. Vicky Kaushal as actor has reached to height of success, due to his hard work and dedication.

During an interaction with media Vicky Kaushal opened about struggle his father went through he revealed  during podcast with  podcaster Raj Shamani, “My parents were very happy with the idea of me having a regular job. My grandfather had a small kirane ki dukaan in our village in Punjab. That’s where my parents are from. We had no land back there. My dad came to Mumbai in 1978. He had an MA in English literature, but he was still jobless, so he was still upset. One day, after drinking with his friends, he said, ‘Main suicide kar lunga’. My grandfather became very concerned, so he sent him to Mumbai.”

Vicky further opened “In Mumbai, my dad was willing to work as a sweeper even, because he knew that nobody in the village would get to know. He said, ‘main Mumbai jaake kuch bhi kaam kar lunga’ because wahan toh kaam hi nahi mil raha tha. My dad’s youth was full of struggles. There’s no job security in this field. While you’re working on one project, you’re wondering if you’ll find something else next. My family was genuinely very happy that finally someone is going to have a stable income, job security, off days. He (my father) was so happy. He felt like his struggles had finally paid off. But I just knew that I couldn’t do a conventional 9-5 job. I had an offer letter, I’d passed with good marks.. but I knew that I’d become depressed if I went ahead with it,”

On work front he looking forward for release of his most awaited project Bad Newz which is releasing tomorrow.
