Kamal Haasan Said He Missed Nedumudi Venu

South legendary superstar Kamal Haasan revealed that the passing of his friend and co-actor Nedumudi Venu had a huge impact on him while shooting for Indian 2.

South actor Nedumudi Venu died of liver cancer in 2021 just before completing the shoot for Indian 2, for the same filmmakers went for another actor in his place, as movie shoot was about to get halted

Recently Kamal had a surreal experience while performing a scene with another actor standing in place of Venu. Actor shared his experience working with another actor on place of Venue he said “There is a twilight zone where a character and the actor become one for a moment. In the West, people go to therapy for that. That happened to me when we were doing a scene with Nedumudi Venu, but without him,”  he further added He (Nedumudi Venu) died midway, so we had to finish with me talking to another person in front of me. They were prominently shooting me. I had to thank and hug him (Nedumudi Venu’s character). That was the most touching moment. I am very fond of him because he’s a great actor. Movie went on floor  in 2019, and Nedumudi Venu shot a few scenes. Filmmaker signed Venu taking into consideration of playing a important supporting character in 1996 Indian.  However later due to Crona pendamic in 2020 movie got halted as production house was shut down and did not resume until 2022, during this period some actors playing supporting roles in the film passed away iincluding Nedumudi Venu and Vivek.

It’s been 28 years we have witnessed Indian, and now on July 12 we are going to watch second most awaited installment Indian 2.
