Sonakshi Sinha and her dad came forward and replied to trollers who were trolling actress for Inter-Faith marriage with long time beu Zaheer Iqbal Sonakshi replied to trollers in her on style she took social media Instagram and re-shared a post  love being “the universal religion”

Sonakshi also dropped a comment on the post shared by Prasad Bhat, and wrote, “Truest words!! This is adorable! Thank you.”

Sonakshi’s dad replied to toller who are calling her daughter marriage “Love Jihad” adding famous Bollywood writer Anand Bakshi saab has written about such professional protestors, ‘Kucch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional,” actor further added “A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say – go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kucch nahi kehna (I have nothing else to say),”

Sonakshi tied knot with Zaheer Iqbal on 23rd June in Bandra Mumbai and later got marriage register in court.
