Kerala University Denied Sunny Leone To Perform In Engineering Fest

Bollywood Diva actress Sunny Leone denied permission to perform at Engineering department campus by Vice-Chancellor, Mohanan Kunnummal.

According to report taking into consideration about upcoming tech fest engineering student union decided to engage Sunny Leone to perform in tech fest which is happening on 5th July.

According to report The university Vice-Chancellor, Mohanan Kunnummal denied permission adding there was an existing directive from the Higher Education Department banning the performance of “outside bands” on the campuses. According to report this decision was taken taking into consideration about recent stampede incident at CUSAT campus.

Vice-Chancellor said event information came into light after he went through poster. Vice-Chancellor further said “There is also a regulation that money should not be collected from outside for functions inside the campuses. On this particular campus, there are only around 300 students, and for a Bollywood celebrity, an exorbitant amount needs to be collected,” he added.

Well According report its rule that University Registrar can only give permission he has a power, and he was not contacted for the same event query.
