Ajay Devgan All Set With Another Sports Biopic

Ajay Devgan who recently done sports biopic on football titled Maidaan. And now actor is all set to work on another sports biopic based on India’s first Dalit cricketer Palwankar Baloo which is going to helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

According to report upcoming project is inspired from historian Ramchandra Guha’s book, which revolve around life and struggles of Palwankar Baloo. Born into the Dalit community, Baloo’s journey began humbly as a groundskeeper at a Pune cricket club. However, his talent and dedication shone through, leading to his selection for the Hindu Gymkhana in 1896.

Conformation of upcoming biopic was revealed by film producer Priti Sinha on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on May 29, 2024.

She revealed “We are producing Baloo Palwankar’s story based on @Ram_Guha sir’s book ‘A Corner Of A Foreign Field,’”

On work front Ajay is waiting for Singham Again and Auron Main Kahan Dum Tha.
