Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar Season 2 Coming Soon

Bollywood filmmaker SLB after great success of Heeramandi:  The Diamond Bazaar announced second season of Heeramandi The Diamond Bazaar.

While announcing second season he also shared some details about backdrop of storyline of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar season 2.

According to latest development However, second Season will continue to show the lives of courtesans but will now be focusing on the impact of the partition on Lahore and its tawaifs, and how they migrate to Indian film industry. However, its not clarified will actress from previous season will continue in second season or new starcast will be added.

While opening about second season of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar SLB said “In Heeramandi 2, the women now come from Lahore to the film world. They leave Lahore after the partition and most of them settle in the Mumbai film industry or Kolkata film industry. So that journey in the bazaar remains the same. They still have to dance and sing, but this time for the producers and not for the nawabs. So that’s the second season we are planning, let’s see where it goes.”

Well today SLB took social media and officially announced making of second Season, for the same he shared one video which was shot at Carter Road, Mumbai, where a dazzling flash mob of 100 dancers adorned in sparkling anarkalis (a traditional Indian gown) and ghungroos (anklets) danced to a medley of songs from the series. As the audience joined in singing along, the dancers delivered the exciting news about Season 2, leaving everyone in awe.

SLB shared excitement and thanked viewers for appreciating Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar adding “I’m blessed by the love and appreciation for Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. It’s been a joy to see the show resonate with audiences worldwide, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Netflix. I’m happy to announce that we’ll be back with season 2!” .
