The suicidal demise of Sushant Singh Rajput left back several questions and a huge void in the life of his close ones. One of the most talked about things was SSR’s frame of mind. Everyone needs to know what led him to commit suicide. The case is still being investigated and about 30 celebs have been questioned until now. And now it has been reported to a publication by a senior doctor that the late actor was suffering from bipolar disorder.
An anonymous officer said:
“The actor used to change his doctors after two to three visits. He has not visited the three psychiatrists more than three times each. The doctor he last visited had given him some medicines for the disease he was diagnosed with but the actor took them for about two months. He had consulted the psychiatrist over the phone during lockdown but he did not follow his advice,“.
According to DCP Abhishek Trimukhe, Zone IX, “The Bandra police have recorded the statements of the three psychiatrists and one psychotherapist with respect to Sushant’s death.”
It was also reported that Sushant had stopped taking medicines after one or two months after his diagnosis. In his statement to the police, one of the psychiatrists said, “Such a disease requires proper medical attention and some medicines need to be taken for almost nine to 11 months. In some cases, they are required for a lifetime. But Sushant stopped taking the medicines when he started to feel better”
